What it takes to get band 6

We don’t only cover the theoretical concepts required by the syllabus – successful HSC Economics students are also proficient at applying concepts to current affairs in the real world, drawing upon current world events and current statistics and incorporating them successfully in their essay arguments.

Our Economics tutoring course teaches our students how to apply concepts, and how to correctly structure extended responses to a band 6 standard in all possible exam situations.

Topics Scheduled

Our schedule of topics may vary as we may modify our course year to year for continual improvement – below is a representation based on past years.

If you need specific help in a topic not listed in addition to following our year 12 Economics tutoring program, we may be able to organise some supplementary Economics 1 on 1 tutoring assistance for enrolled students.
