Our Year 10 Science tutoring program starts in Term 1 and ends in Term 4 of each year. The program covers all syllabus outcomes and requirements of the NSW BOSTES Sstage 5 syllabus, and leads into our Year 11 Science courses.

Year 10 Science Course Overview
The Year 10 Science tutoring program covers all syllabus outcomes and requirements of the NSW BOSTES Stage 5 syllabus, with the overall goal of giving year 10 students the ability and confidence to take on higher scaling science subjects such as Chemistry, Physics and Biology for years 11 and 12. To this end, the program will go into greater depth when covering concepts relevant to these subjects.
This course is ideal for:
- Students who are currently in Year 10 who want to improve marks and ranks in science at school
- Students who intend on doing science subjects for year 11, such as Chemistry, Physics and/or Biology
2 hour weekly lessons
Tutoring course materials (concept explanations, summaries, study notes, example questions, worked solutions and exam-style homework) are provided each week in the form of a theory and homework booklet
Tutoring homework is expected to be completed and will be fully marked each week, with comments detailing every point of improvement

Topic Tests administered at the end of each major topic, with marks and vital statistics reported in the End of Term report
Online access to our repository of resources, exam papers with solutions and course summaries
